FAQs

  1. Can I get prescription lenses from you?

Yes, we offer prescription lenses for certain prescription ranges between +3.00 and -4.75. The pricing for CR-39 lenses is $59 and for Polycarbonate is $89. Just email your eyeglass prescription to us at specsforthepeople@gmail.com. Keep in mind that prescriptions must be within 1 year of the eye exam to be valid and we can't offer refunds on lens orders. Sorry, we can't help if your prescription is outside of this range at the moment, but we're working on it! In the meantime, you can always take your frame to a local optometrist to get lenses put in.

  1. Do I need to give you my PD (pupillary distance)?

Yes, your pupillary distance (PD) is a key measurement that we need to get your glasses just right. It tells us the distance between your pupils and helps us position the center of the lens properly for the best vision correction and comfort. You can get your PD from your eye exam.

  1. What's your return policy?

If you're not happy with your purchase, just let us know within 30 days of receiving it and we'll do our best to make it right. We offer refunds and exchanges on frame only orders and one remake if your optometrist changes your prescription within 30 days of your order. Unfortunately, we can't offer refunds on prescription lens orders, but we'll do our best to help if you're not satisfied.

  1. Do all your eyeglasses have blue light filters?

Not all of them, so be sure to check the product description before you buy. Some of our glasses come with high-quality blue wavelength blocking lenses, while others don't. Don't worry, we'll let you know which is which!
